Sauna Benefits
HaloTherapy™ Sauna Combining Infrared + Red Light + Dry Salt Therapy + Chromotherapy
Infrared Benefits
There’s nothing quite like a session in a sauna. You feel more relaxed & rested after you’re done, and the heat helps relieve sore muscles and improves your overall health & well-being. Infrared saunas have become quintessential in spas, gyms & other wellness settings around the world.
These saunas use infrared panels instead of conventional heat to easily penetrate human tissue, heating up your body before heating up the air.
In a far infrared sauna, about 20% of the heat goes to heating the air & the other 80% heats your body. This radiant heat penetrates the skin more deeply than traditional saunas.

Red Light Therapy
Red & near-infrared light are part of the electromagnetic spectrum, & more specifically, part of the spectrum of light emitted by the sun. These wavelengths of light are “bioactive” in humans.
Red light between 600-700nm offers benefits for skin texture & tone, smoothing fine lines & wrinkles, promoting collagen production & generally rejuvenating the appearance of skin & hair.
Near-infrared light (NIR) 700nm – 1100nm penetrates deeper into the tissues to assist with wound healing, muscle recovery, nerve injury, & joint pain.

Dry Salt Therapy Benefits
Our sauna utilizes a salt generator to create the optimal size of salt particles for optimized effectiveness.
Generally, salt particles in the range of 0.1-3.0 microns (often referred to as respirable particles) are considered most effective for:
• Deep Lung Penetration: Smaller particles can penetrate deeper into the lungs, reaching the alveoli. Larger particles tend to deposit in the upper respiratory tract. The deep penetration is essential for reducing inflammation & helping to clear mucus from the lungs, which is particularly beneficial for individuals with chronic respiratory conditions such as asthma or COPD.
• Increased Surface Area: Smaller particles have a greater surface area compared to larger particles of the same mass. This means that there is more salt surface in contact with the airways, which can enhance the anti-inflammatory & antibacterial effects of the salt, & help remove substantially more mucus.
• Improved Mucociliary Clearance: Salt therapy helps to improve mucociliary clearance by attracting water to the airways, which helps to thin mucus. Smaller particles are more effective in achieving this as they can more easily be distributed across the respiratory tract.
Chromotherapy Benefits
Chromotherapy is color light therapy; which is the process of restoring balance to the body by applying color.
We use medical-grade chromotherapy that is very powerful, using 96 LED lights with an array of 12 colors – red, green, strong blue, orange, green, blue, strong yellow, strong indigo, strong pink, yellow, indigo, & violet.
It relies on the premise that each color is associated with a different bodily response.
For example, red is typically associated with stimulation, while blue is considered a mentally relaxing color.
Healing With Color
Color is light split into different wavelengths vibrating at different speeds and at different frequencies. Objects that ABSORB all wavelengths and DO NOT reflect are black in nature. Objects that REFLECT all wavelengths & DO reflect are white in nature. Between black & white lies COLOR. Colors are wavelengths of energy that, to us, appear as color because of the potential and capabilities of the object to either absorb or reflect the energy.
-
Red is called “The Great Energizer.”
-
Yellow helps awaken mental inspiration arousing higher mentality.
-
Green is the universal healing color. Green is midway in the color spectrum; therefore, it contains both a physical nature & a spiritual nature, in equal balance & in equal harmony.
-
Blue on the other hand, is at the opposite end of the visible spectrum. Blue can be used for any type of ailments associated with speech, communication, or the throat.
-
Orange has a freeing action upon the mind, relieving repression. Because orange is a blend of red and yellow, it combines physical energy with mental wisdom, inducing a transformation between lower physical reaction & higher mental response.
-
Violet is the last color we can see before light passes on to ultra-violet. Violet purifies our thoughts and feelings giving us inspiration in all undertakings. The violet energy connects us to our spiritual self bringing guidance, wisdom & inner strength, & enhances artistic talent & creativity. Leonardo da Vinci proclaimed that you can increase the power of meditation ten fold by meditating under the gentle rays of violet, as found in church windows.
